Strategic design offers instant brand recognition
The Challenge 3M engaged Franke+Fiorella to design a brandmark to promote their sponsorship of this Champions Tour event that would provide instant brand recognition of 3M as the title sponsor. The mark also needed to have strong consumer appeal to support sales of branded merchandise.
The Solution Franke+Fiorella’s design solution included the integration of the 3M logo, a stylized illustration of a golfer and ball, and the word “championship.” Using the 3M logo as the dominant graphic element ensured that 3M would achieve maximum visibility in all applications.
